North Glasgow College
North Glasgow College is located in the Springburn area of the city and marks a significant stage in the regeneration of north Glasgow and the development of one of Scotland’s largest further education colleges.
The new building is located just opposite the old college on a 5-acre brownfield site. It has been designed to be energy efficient, maximise natural light and use natural ventilation. The main body of the white glazed building sits to the north of the site and comes to a dramatic point which has been likened to New York’s flat iron building.
