An unusual housing development from Gareth Hoskins Architects (Architect Team of the Year) and MacTaggart and Mickel has won planning approval from Glasgow City Council.Located within a 1940’s west end housing scheme at Ripon Drive, Kelvindale (built by the same developer), the brick clad block features 15 two bedroom apartments together with a Scout Hall and lock ups which will require to be demolished to accommodate the development.
These elements are all combined within a single building clad in contrasting deep blue brick together with a dramatic roof terrace for one lucky penthouse owner.
Despite approval the project is not within MacTaggart and Mickel’s current build programme.
