Scots brand Calatrava's Lake Shore Drive Tower

Third Eye Design, the Scottish Design Company,has been appointed to brand a new tower on Chicago’s North Lake Shore Drive, which has been designed by Santiago Calatrava for Shelbourne Development,an Irish company. Third Eye Design has been appointed to create and implement the global branding, marketing and advertising for Calatrava’s Chicago Spire. The spire will be a 2,000 foot tall elegantly twisting landmark tower with 150 floors containing 1,193 unique and premium residences. It will be the tallest building in the USA and the tallest exclusively residential building in the world. A global marketing campaign will run until completion will be by 2011. It includes a global advertising campaign using 3D visualizations (3D renders were completed by Edinburgh-based Glo), a major international travelling exhibition, a beautiful sales centre in Chicago, all print literature and an integrated web campaign. www.thechicagospire.comRead next: Public vote for their 'Carbuncle' favourites
